Willie Clyde Josey, Jr., 83, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, July 7, 2015, at Irwinville Cemetery in Irwinville, Georgia.

Mr. Josey was born December 18, 1931, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Willie Clyde and Marie Waller Josey. Mr. Josey honorably served his country in the United States Army and lived in the community all of his life.

He is survived by his nephew: Jeffery Fowler & Marlene of Fitzgerald; a niece: Carrie Josey Soles & Terry of Loganville; one great-niece and two great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Edward Josey; a sister: Mary Clyde Josey Fowler and two nephews: Dwayne Josey and Tim Fowler.
