Willie "Big Jay" Josey passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012, at a local care center. Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Stop Six Church of Christ, 4500 E. Berry St. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Wake: 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday with the family present at the funeral home. Survivors: Wife, Rose Josey; daughters, Vickey Allen, LaRonda Carlton and Tena Butler; stepdaughters, Regina Roberts and Lisa Fields; brothers, Gary James, Odis James, Troy James, Terry James and Elmer Josey; sisters, Doris Turner and Marilyn Turner; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
