William Bennett "Benny" Josey July 7, 1967 - March 4, 2014 Gray, GA- William Bennett "Benny" Josey, Jr., 46, died suddenly March 4, 2014, at his residence. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm, Friday, at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, March 08, 2014, graveside at Plentitude Baptist Church Cemetery in Jones County. Rev. Bill Ayers will officiate the services. Benny was born July 7, 1967, in Macon and was a lifelong resident of Jones County. He was a 1985 graduate of Jones County High School and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Benny honorably served his country with the United States Army and was a member of the National Rifle Association. Benny worked his entire adult life in the HVAC business and was currently employed as a manager for Green & Associates, Inc. Benny is survived by his wife: Lisa Josey; daughter: Katie Wright (John); sons: Jordan Josey and David Josey; parents: Bennett Josey (Brenda) and Rachel Comer (Melvin); brother: Brian Josey (Dianne); step-daughter: Theresa Stevens and a nephew: Josh Josey. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Plentitude Baptist Church, care of Bobby Nobles, 924 Howard Roberts Road, Gray, Georgia 31032.
