Virginia MIxon Josey1931-2013Virginia Mixon Josey, 82, of Cantonment, FL, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at a local hospice. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. Virginia worked at Monsanto until she had to medically retire.The family would like to thank special friends, Ronnie and Cathy Payne, Covenant Hospice, West Florida CCU, Pastor Bill Adams and his wife, Jean and her wonderful church family for all their loving support.She is preceded in death by her parents, Ranzy and Bessie Mixon; her loving husband of 48 years, Paul A. Josey; son, James L. "Randy" Josey and her grandson, John Paul Josey.She is survived by her two children, Sheryl Wetzel (Rodger) and Myron Josey; four grandchildren, Paula Keating (Colonel Thomas D. Keating), Levi Wetzel, Ty Wetzel (Sabrina) and Nicole Ramirez (Jose); five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lauren and Will Keating, Christian and Johnathan Ramirez and one brother, John Mixon (Sue).Visitation will be held at Smyrna Baptist Church on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Barrancas National
