Velda Mae Josey Letherwood Burns

Mrs. Velda Mae Leatherwood Burns, 56, a 25 year resident of Springtown, died Saturday in a Fort Worth hospital after a short illness.
Survivors include one son, Bill Leatherwood, Springtown, three daughters, Lois Bilmore and Anglica Mortson both of Mineral Wells, and Mildred Dodd; of Springtown. her father Buck Babb of Austonia; hr mother Ruby Lee Josey, Weatherford; sever grandchildren and step daughters and step sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 8 pm today in White's Funeral Chapel in Springtown, with burial in Springtown Cemetery. White's Funeral Home of Springtown is in charge of arrangements.
