Thomas Cecil Josey 93, was born March 24, 1930, in Hempstead Texas. He peacefully went to be with our Lord on December 2, 2023, in Houston Texas at his home of 70 years, surrounded by family and friends.

He was preceded by his wife of 61 years Bertha, his daughter Donna Marie and grandson Brian Keith. He is survived by his sons: Wayne and his wife Katherine, and Kevin, grandchildren Heather Josey Gibson and husband James, Donna Lundy and husband Remco Bambacht, Tatianna Josey and husband Brett Hodgden, Robert Josey, Kiemo Josey, and Keidyn Josey. Great grandchildren Chloe Davis and wife Rainee, Kody Davis and wife Cheyenne, Leslie Wiesinger and husband Josh, Kile Davis and wife Courtney, Railyn Josey, Evangeline Hodgden-Josey and Emerson Hodgden-Josey. Great great grandchildren Kylie Wiesinger, Jackson Weisinger, Mazie Weisinger, Brayleigh Davis, Blakelyn Davis, Krason Josey Moreno. Sisters Betty Helen Jensen, Bernice Tanton, Sydney Airheart, Sibyel Balla and husband Terry. Thomas has numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and colleagues.

Active in his community: Manager of little league baseball and President of Northside National Little League.

Supported numerous local golf courses with friends and family members. Active bowler for 60 years. He supported local Bingo Halls, casinos, and Texas Scratch offs. Thomas, an Army veteran, worked for Houston Pipeline for 39 years, he traveled to 251 of 254 counties in Texas, and 40 of 50 United States.

Viewing will be Sunday December 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Monday December 11, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home and Memorial Park 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston Texas 77039.
