Stephen William Josey, 51, died peacefully at his home on Wed. May 21st. He was a lifelong resident of Bradenton. Steve was the third child of 5 born to Louise and Bill Josey. He will be deeply missed by his close brother and sisters: Karen Petersen (Tim), Annette Sullivan ( Mark), Kevin Josey, Liz Altenbernd (Greg) all of Bradenton. He was proud of and loved his Nieces: Melissa, Ashley, Katie, Harley and Maddie and his Nephews: Zac, Cody, Timmy, Taylor, Corey, Colson and Colton. His beloved Aunt Patty and cousin Chris Phillips will miss him. Steve was the eternal optimist of the family and his glass was always half full. He loved boating, diving and all things sports. His green parrot, Scully, already misses him. Steve was honored to work with his family at Josey's Poseys Florist. The family will hold a private service.
