With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Williams of Leakesville, Mississippi, who passed away on December 24, 2022 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Ann Williams to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Alex Lane Williams; and her parents, Ben Shirley Josey and Eddie Edmonia Lawrence. She is survived by : her son Charles Alex Williams (Angela); her granddaughters, Erin Williams and Kelly Jeffus (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Sadie Jeffus and Smith Jeffus. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church or Leakesville Elementary School.

Shirley Ann Williams, age 78, passed away December 24, 2022. She worked for many years as a school assistant in Leakesville where she dearly loved the children. She was a faithful member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She greatly enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, and keeping her friends and family informed of current events! She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alex Lane Williams; parents Ben Shirley Josey and Eddie Edmonia Lawrence.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son Charles Alex (Angela) Williams; granddaughters, Erin Williams and Kelly (Justin) Jeffus; great granddaughter, Sadie Jeffus; great grandson, Smith Jeffus; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Foster officiating. Burial will follow in McLeod-Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tom Wallace, Josh Everett, Dale Box, Cecil Williams, Butch Watson, Kevin Spivey, Bernie Dearman and J.L. Pipkins.
