Shirley Ann Gaskins Josey, 65 of Anacoco were held at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 16, in the Good Hope Baptist Church I Anacoco with the Revs Bud McChullough and Edwin McCullough officiating.

Buurial following in the Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.

Mrs gaskins died Thursday June 14 in the Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.

She retired from federal civil service at Fort Polk Regional Hospital in Leesville. She was retired from federal civil service at Fort Polk and attended Good Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Roger Josey of Leesville and Terry Josey of Anacoco, two daughters, Rhonda Rodriguez and Tammy Marshall, both of Abacoco, one brother, Milton Gaskins of Pasadena, Texas, three sisters, Hazel Leap of Ajo, Ariz, Malvis Cryer and Betty Taylor, both of Anacoco, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren.
