86, of 805 North Eleventh St. died Sept. 17, 1996, at Presbyterian Hospice Unit, Charlotte.

Funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Harold McDonald and Rev. Justin Hill officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park. Visitation is 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at Hartsell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Josey was born in Denton. She was a retired salesperson with Belks, Albemarle. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Josey was preceded in death by her husband, Flynt Milas Josey.

Survivors include her two sons, Flynt M. Josey of Charlotte and Robert N. Josey of Mt. Airy; one niece, Mrs. Mildred Phillips of New Smyrna, FL; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren
