DUBLIN — Rebecca Ann “Becky” Josey, 65, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at an Albany hospital.

Services will be 2 P.M. Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at the Jefferson Street Baptist Church with burial to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens with the Rev.’s Jay Moore, Bo Prosser and Jerry Bradley officiating. Pallbearers will be Butch Prosser, Skip Prosser, Donnie Jackson, Britt Stewart, Lee Veal and John Ellington.

Ms. Josey was born September 2, 1941 in Laurens County. She was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Ollie Leaptrot Ellington. She was a homemaker and member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Jon and his wife, Jennifer Helton of Dublin; a step-daughter, Jenny Jackson of Duluth and her fiance’, Herschel Veal of Dublin; a brother, Jerry and his wife Sarah Ellington of Milledgeville; and two grandchildren, Jenna Helton and Jake Helton both of Dublin.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
