Paula Josey Scearce, 52 of 152 Northwest Blvd., Danville died Sunday, April 4, 2010 at her residence. Born November 18, 1957 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Paul Josey and the late Pauline Dix Josey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Scearce and a sister, Darline Josey Johnson. She attended DCC for two years majoring in Marketing and Business Management and was formerly employed as retail manager for Gate Petroleum. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Blanche Michelle Wilkerson of Danville, a son, Thomas Allen Wilkerson and fiancé, Christie McGee of Danville, a step-daughter, Cheryl Scearce of Williamsburg, two step-sons, James Scearce and Ronald S. Scearce both of Danville, a special friend, Marvin “Butch� Wilkerson of Danville, two sisters, Barbara George of Danville and Paulette Martin of Martinsville, a brother, Paul Josey, Jr. of Danville and her grandchildren, Katelyn Wilkerson, Alek Scearce, Adryenne Scearce, Anna Scearce, Jessica Bouffier, Christopher Bouffier and Laura Scearce. She is also survived by two nephews and three nieces.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Tpke, Danville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
