Mary Lee Hicks Josey

Mary Lee Josey, age 91, of Crestview, passed away Friday, Oct 19, 2007, She was born Sep 8 1916, in Andalusia, Ala., and was a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County. She was a retired Deputy Clerk, a member of Auburn Assembly of God and a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Josey was preceded in death by her husband, George Ralph Josey; son, Marvin Josey and wife Sonja Josey. Survivors include one son, George Robert Josey and wife Karin; five grandchildren, Mike, Ralph, Thomas and Doran Josey, and Christina Hart and husband Shannon; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral will be held at 1p.m. Tuesday, Oct 23, in the chapel of Brackney Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Almarante Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A special thanks to Covenant Hospice for their care. Brackney Funeral Service, Crestview, is in charge of arrangements.
