Marie H. Josey, 84, Sarasota, died Dec. 7, 2004.

She was born June 13, 1920, in Chicago and came to Sarasota in 2001 from St. Petersburg. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Petersburg.

Survivors include daughters Diane Thibodeaux of Lakeland and Kathleen J. Barra of Clearwater; a son, Lawson L. Jr. of Ypsilanti, Mich.; brothers Frank Hardin of Lisle, Ill., and William Hardin of Sarasota; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, with the service following, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Petersburg. Burial will be in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. Weigand Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota, is in charge.
