Lillian M. Josey Spicer, age 79, of Crestview, passed away Monday, April 4, 2011. She was born on May 3, 1931 in Red Level, Ala., and moved to Okaloosa County in 1971. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude J. Spicer, and brother, William Josey.

Survivors include three daughters, Fran and Alex Atkinson of Panama City, Becky and Jerry Kelley of Milligan, Lisa and Darryl Roper of Baker; four sisters, Reaby McCutcheon of Opelika, Ala., Odessa McCart of Laurel Hill, Mary Ouinata of Lompoc, Ga., and Carolyn Stephens of Crestview; five grandchildren, Gloria K. Rice, Amber Geoghagan, April Bracewell, Christopher Kelley, Dustin Roper; seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 7 at Central Baptist Church with Pastor David Bracewell officiating. Burial will follow in Live Oak Park Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
