Kathleen Wiley Josey, a resident of Dallas County for fifeteen years, died friday at her home, the Josey Ranch at Carrollton, after a brief illness.

She was the mother of Donald WWilliam Josey, Dallas oil man.

Mrs. Josey was borm in Huntsville and attended Sam Houston Normal Collage there. She was the daughter of the late Judge and Mrs, J.O. Wiley Sr. of Huntsville, a pioneer Texas family. Her father was one of the early district judges in Texas.

In 1891, she married William Carrol Josey in Huntsville. He was an oil operator, active later in development of the famed Spindletop oil field.

Mrs. Josey was a member of the Dallas Woman's Club.
