Joyce Sharon Norris Josey, 25 Sep 1942 – 17 Jan 2022

Warner Robins, Georgia – Sharon J. Josey, 79, went home to be with her personal Lord and Savior on Monday, January 17, 2022. A Graveside service honoring the life of Sharon will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00AM at Parkway Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Smith officiating.

Sharon was born on September 25, 1942 in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late Grace Byers Norris and Spurgeon Norris. Sharon was a very devoted family woman who loved being surrounded by those she loved and cherished. She strived to provide for those she loved by building a house on the foundation of the Lord. Throughout her life, she had taught her children the importance of not only living for the Lord but also loving thy neighbor as he commands. Sharon was a true prayer warrior who would pray for countless hours on end. She was a devoted Christian who served her Lord and Savior with all her heart, soul, strength, and mind as Luke 10:27 states.

Sharon was a woman who loved being outdoors and working in her yard. Through the years, she had maintained a yard often times described as immaculate. She was a very simplistic woman who was very independent but yet so strong within. She will forever be remembered for her loving and contagious smile that warmed the hearts of many.

In addition to her parents, there awaiting for Sharon at the gates of heaven is her beloved husband of the last 61 years, Bobby Josey; Siblings, Alva Norris; and Bob Norris.

Left to cherish her beautiful memory is her beloved Children: Jamey Josey, Pam Smith (Darrin); Grandchildren, Brook Josey, Jordan Josey, Christofher Smith, Chance Smith, Joshua Smith; Great-grandchildren, Lexi, Mary Claire, Maverick, Sawyer; Sister, Patricia Wilkins.
