Gray, GA-Mr. James Roy Proctor, 47, died Saturday, December 3,
2011. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7 in the chapel of
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Macon Memorial Park
Cemetery. The Rev. Danny Mundy will officiate. The family will receive friends
at the funeral home on Wednesday from Noon until service time. The family asks
that those who wish, make memorial contributions to the Calvary Baptist Church
Building Fund, 4364 Upper River Rd, Gray, GA 31032. Mr. Proctor, son of Brenda

Mr. Proctor, son of Brenda Evans Josey, was born December 19, 1963, in Macon, and resided in Gray for the past five
years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a graduate of Macon Technical College. Mr. Proctor was an avionics
technician at Robins Air Force Base. He found peace in hunting and fishing. He
was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Gray. Mr. Proctor was preceded in
death by his father, James Donald Proctor, and brother, David Lynn Proctor.
Surviving Mr. Proctor are his wife of 13 years, Connie Sprayberry
Proctor; mother and step father, Brenda and Bennett Josey; step daughters,
Cathy (Allen) Harrell, Amy (Mel) Turner; sister, Teresa (Jeff) Price; brother,
Richard (Laurie) Elander; step brothers, Benny (Lisa)
Josey, Brian (Dianne) Josey; grandchildren, Adam Harrell, Linsey
Turner, Kaylin Turner, Melody Turner; nephews, Brian
(Kelli) Teal, Brandon Brown, Nick Brown, Lance Elander; nieces, Ashley and Katelyn
