Imelda Louise Watson Josey, 69, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 in Houston, Texas.

She was born July 30, 1944 to James and Mildred Watson in Madisonville, Texas.

Imelda was a key clerk for Southwestern Bell for over 30 years and retired in 1994.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bubba Ellis.

Imelda is survived by her daughters, Robbie Bolin McAteer and husband James of Pasadena; Rhonda Lynn Ellis of Channelview, and adopted daughter, Sherry Recker of Channelview; grandchildren, Eric Bolin, Robert Ellis, Christopher Ellis; numerous friends and extended family.

Friends are welcome to join the family for visitation Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013 in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco, Texas under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.
