Services for Homer Clay Josey were held Friday in Lakeview Baptist Church, with burial in Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home Cemetery. Josey, 89, died Tuesday, June 27, 2000. He was retired from Savannah Linen Co. after 20 years. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Frances Josey; children, Benjamin Josey, Bennett Josey and B. Jean Gordon, all of Gray, Evolene Henderson and Betty Parker, both of Ellabell, and Deloris Hamilton of Savannah; stepchildren, Judith Studdard and Marvin Hatcher, both of Tallahassee, Fla.; brother, Woodrow Josey of Bath, S.C.; 16 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
