 JOSEY,
Hertha April 1st, 1927 - July 9th, 2007
It is with great sadness that the family of Hertha
Josey announces her passing on July 9th, 2007
at the age of 80 years. Hertha is survived by her
loving husband, Jerry of 57 years, children, Ron (Holly) their children Katie
and Paul, Carol (Gil) Bilodeau, their children
Simon, Danny, Julian and Nicole and daughter, Sandy. Hertha
is also survived by her sister Melita (James),
brother, Dr. Erich Berendt, brother-in-law, Leo Janke and aunt Adina Schlese
along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents,
Alex and Alma Berendt, step-mother, Jenny (Aldegunde) Berendt and sister,
Meta Janke. Hertha will
be remembered for her dancing, bridge playing and dry sense of humor. She lived
a very healthy life, living in the present and accepting whatever came her
way. Her family extends heartfelt appreciation to her physician Dr. Chris Sharek and the Palliative Home Care Team especially Wendy
Bentoritis. Prayers for Hertha
will be held on Thursday, July 12th, at 7:00 p.m.,
at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, July
13th, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 210 Haddow Close, Edmonton, with Rev. Kazimierz
Kubat, SDS
