MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Wilson Josey, 79, beloved husband of fifty-six years to Mrs. Betty Jean Blackwell Josey, entered into rest on Saturday, March 16th, 2013. Born in Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Henry W. and Nina Lee Waller Josey. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force . A resident of Martinez, GA, since 1965, he retired from Columbia Nitrogen, where he was a Shift Supervisor. He enjoyed fishing and building things. Give him a hammer and he was happy!! In addition to his wife and parents, family members include children, Danny Lee Josey, Birmingham, AL, Kathy (Michael) Roushar, Aiken, SC and Vera Ellen Josey, Martinez, GA; siblings, Venia Black, Bath, SC, the late Hilda Slaton, the late Nina Mae Raft and the late Willie Lee Josey; grandchildren, Michelle and Melissa Roushar and two great- grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 20th, 2013, at 11 o clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Dexter Lambert officiating. Interment with veterans honors provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. The family has asked that memorials in his memory be made to the American Heart Association .
