Harold Hayden Lundy, 18 Nov 1922 – 16 Feb 2015

Hayden Lundy, age 92, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 16, 2015. Hayden passed away peacefully at his home. He was born November 18, 1922 in Red Level, Alabama to Joe and Elizabeth Lundy. Hayden lived most of his life in Okaloosa County, was a member of Auburn Assembly of God, served his country in the United States Navy and was a World War II Vet.
Hayden was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Mae Lundy; parents, Joe and Elizabeth Lundy, son, Charles Wayne Lundy; two brothers, Gerald and Winston Lundy.
Hayden is survived by one son, Garry Harold Lundy; three daughters, Frances Lundy Shepherd and husband Carl, Linda Lundy Mlynarczyk and husband Ed and Sherrie Lundy, one brother, Foy Lundy; and three sisters, Velma Lundy Hadock, June Lundy Corbin, and Mary Jo Lundy Erskine; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm. Celebration of life will be Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 1:00pm at Auburn Trinity Pentecostal. Burial will follow at Almarante Cemetery in Laurel Hill, Florida.
