Clark Josey Jr, 88 years old of Bellville, passed away February
3, 2015.
At St. Joseph
Hospital in Bellville Frank
was born October 7, 1926 in Hempstead, Texas, the son of Frank
Josey and Bessie Skeeters Josey.After graduating from high school, at the age
of 19 he enlisted into the United States Army. Frank served his country during
the World War II and was a prisoner of war. While serving, He was a truck
driver and rifle marksmen. Frank married Francis Ognoskie.Together they had two
children, Diann and Michael .Frank and Francis divorced and Frank moved to
Bellville with his family. He went to work for the State of Texas Department of
Highways and Transportation in the maintenance department.In 1980 he remarried
to Deloris Jennings.In June of 1986 he retired from the state after 20 years of
service.What Frank enjoyed most was going to the Bellville Brahma football
games to watch his grandson play. We also can’t leave out him watching THE
Dallas Cowboys. He was a collector of knives, loved his truck and crossword
puzzles. His everyday schedule included drinking coffee with his friends at
Newman’s Bakery. Franks home for the last 10 years was Colonial Belle Nursing
Home. He is survived by his two children ,Diann Hill, and husband Donny,
Michael Josey and wife Jana, sister Hazel Reid and brother Jimmy
Josey,grandchildren Michele,Shana,Chris,Jamie and Ashley, several great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews, step children Monuel Jennings and Deborah
Jaloway.
Proceeded in death by his parents and wife Deloris.
Frank service was officiated by Kevin Haug of Cat
Spring.
Pallbearers were: C.W. Waak, Clarence Schmitt, Brad Valdes, Joe Hathcoat, Scott
Josey, and Keith Josey.
