Frances P. Josey, 90 formerly of Tallahassee passed away, Monday, September 19, 2011. Visitation will be held 12:00PM-1:00PM Friday, September 23, at Woodrun Baptist Church in Tallahassee with funeral services to follow at 1:00PM. Interment will follow at MeadowWood Memorial Park. She was born December 1, 1920 in Ozark, Alabama to Henry T. and Pearle Robinson Pennington. Frances was a fine Christian lady and an avid gardener. She is retired from the Human Resources Department, State of Florida. She is predeceased by her parents, a brother Howard Pennington and her husband H.C. Josey . Survivors include a daughter Judith Studdard (Fred) of Panacea, FL; a son Marvin Hatcher (Violet) of Monticello, FL; five step-children; grand children Curt Studdard (Jerri) of Tallahassee, Tracy Studdard (Marsha) of Quincy, FL, Clint Hatcher of Altha, FL, Allen Herring of Tallahassee, Fl, Candace Allen (Carlton) of Tallahassee, FL; ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
