Eugene David Josey, 45, of Logan Street, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006. Born Nov. 4, 1961, in Statesville, he was the son of Ruby Turner Josey and the late Bobby Hayes Josey. In addition to his mother, Mr. Josey is survived by his children, Jessica P. Josey, Rebekah J. Josey; former wife, Allyson Josey, all of Mooresville; brothers, Tim Josey and wife, Pam, of Mooresville, Michael Josey and wife, Amanda of Mooresville; sisters, Cheryl Overcash and husband, Donnie, of Troutman, Connie Kennerly and husband, Todd, of Mooresville; six nephews; and one niece. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Davis and the Rev. Fred Carlton officiating. Burial will follow the service at Iredell Memorial Park, Statesville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
