Eleanor Faye Josey Burt - a 69 year-old native of Georgiana, AL and resident of Chickasaw passed away at her home on Thursday, September 17, 2009. Mrs. Burt was a lifelong caregiver and a dedicated member of Harvest Church of God in Saraland. She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Raymond Burt. She is survived by her son, Tommy Cook (Regina) of Chickasaw; other children, Susan Mullin of Houston, TX, David Burt of Decatur, AL, and Steve Burt (Martha) of Mobile; brother, Cromwell Josey (Faye) of Georgiana; sister, Loraine Kinsey of St. Louis, MO; ten grandchildren, Joshua Cook, Stephanie Walding, Hanna Burt, Wesley Burt, Jordan Burt, Jessica Kerr, Erica Jeffrey, C.J. Cochran, Wendy Conway, and Brent Cochran; great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Graveside services will be held in Mt. Carmel Baptist Cemetery in Greenville, AL on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at Harvest Church of God in Saraland on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Harvest Church of God, 221 Industrial Pkwy.
