Doris Marie Josey Clance, 1 Nov 1927 - 22 May 1994

The funeral for Mrs. Doris Josey Clance, 56, will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Mosleyville Baptist Church. The Rev. Milton Hill will officiate. Burial will take place in West View Cemetery.

Mrs. Clance died Thursday in a local hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Baldwin County. She was a member of a Milledgeville pioneer family. She was the great-great-grandaughter of Daniel Caraker, the great-great, granddaughter of Laura P Caraer and James Jasper McDaniel, the grandaughter of Addie Woodard and James Thomas McDaniel and the daughter of Alva McDanieland Lee Roy Josey. She was a member of Mosleyville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Daton Clance of Milledgeville; one daughter, Mrs. Pat Clarence Tribble of Milledgeville; one son, Mr Mike Clance of milledgeville; two sisters, Mrs. Laura J McDade and Mrs. Alva Lee Wright, both of Milledgev ille; one brother, Mr. Royc e Josey of Milledgeville, one grandaughter, Miss Stacey Clance of Milledgeville.

The body will lie in state at the church from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour. The family will be at 103 Oak Drive.
