Clifford C. Josey, III, 80, of White City Ore. passed away on Feb. 28, 2011. He was born June 8,1930 in West Monroe, La.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, to whom he was married 47 years. He is also survived by his son, Cliff, and two grandchildren, Cameron and Ethan, as well as a sister, Juanita Dean, of Boone, N.C.

He was a retired military Major who later became a contractor in the Rogue Valley. After retiring, he enjoyed jewelry making showing a talent for design, and as well as volunteering at Crater Rock museum.

He was a man of great empathy and manners remembering his southern roots. He made friends easily, was outgoing and friendly. He is very missed by his family.
