Billie Craige Kluttz Josey, 85, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday,
Dec. 11, 2021
at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Rowan County on Aug.
22, 1936,
she was the daughter of the late Eva Nash and James Hudson Kluttz.
Mrs. Josey was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she taught
Sunday school and was a member of the Women's Mission. She dearly loved
her family, friends, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Fred C. Josey, whom she married on June
25, 1956.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debbie Doby
and Peggy Pegram, both of Salisbury; sister, Jane
Peeler of Salisbury; brother, Jimmy Kluttz (Jean) of
Salisbury; grandchildren, Brandon Doby, Dustin Doby (Tiffany), Brittany Keever
(Jake), and Blake Pegram; great-grandchildren,
Jackson Doby, Ryan Doby,
and Kyleigh Keever.
Numerous special nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.
Visitation: 12:30-1:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16
at Calvary Baptist Church, 2255 East Ridge

Salisbury 28144. Service: 2
p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 16 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott
Faw and the Rev. Travis Connor officiating. Burial
will follow at Rowan Memorial Park. Pallbearers will
be Dustin Doby, Brandon Doby,
Blake Pegram, Jake Keever,
Tim Peeler, and Gary Kluttz. Memorials: Memorials may
