Barbara S. Turner, age 75, of Tabor City, NC, died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville, NC. Born August 28, 1943 she was the daughter of the late John Lee and Mary Ethel Thomas Turner.

She is survived by her husband: Keith John Turner of the home; two sons: Robby Lee Turner and his wife Beth Ellen of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Johnny Mack Turner and his wife Andrea of Mason, MI; one brother: Malcom Josey of Statesville, NC; one sister: Vivan Josey Cook of Statesville, NC; two grandchildren: Rhiannon Lee Turner and Amber Lynn Turner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: Edward Nelson Turner; six brothers: JD Josey, George Josey, Ralph Josey, Troy Josey, Tommy Josey and Dave Josey; two sisters: Lela Clark and Katherine Carr.

A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the Iredell Memorial Park, 2304 Shelton Ave., Statesville, NC 28677.
