Allen Douglas Josey

Survivors include Winifred Cawthorne Josey, A. Douglas Josey (Jill), Raiff Josey (Ashley), Sara Josey Bryant, Barth Josey (Brandi), several grandchildren, as well as other family and friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents Dr. A. Izard and Elizabeth Douglas Josey and son Grant B. Josey.

Allen served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam attaining the rank of 1st Lieutenant and received a Silver Star and 5 Purple Hearts.

He was service connected veteran who had been an accountant. He enjoyed reading, spending time with family (including the fourlegged children) and friends.
