North Carolina The annexed Plot uprising a tract of land belonging to the
Estate of
HENRY APPLEWHITE, dec'd, called The
Mannor Plantation, bounds as follows Viz. Beginning at a Gum at the mouth of
Poco son Branch & running North 70 East 20 poles to the main run of Deep
Creek, (hen "!:lP the various courses ofthe said run to a Maple, ROBERT
WHITAKER'S comer, thence along his line South 70 West 182 poles to a Pine, his
comer, then south 28 East 134 poles to a White Oak, thence North 88 East 212
poles to a Pine, then South 35 East 52 poles to a Red Oak, then South 75 East
79 poles to a Pine, then North 3 West 188 poles to the beginning, Containing
184 acres.
LOT No 1.
Beginning at a Gum in the mouth of Poco son Branch & running South 81 1/2 minutes & intersects the back line thru with
the back line to the comer Pine, WHITAKER & APPLEWHITE comer, then South 70
West 182 poles to the main run of Deep Creek, therewith said run to the
beginning comer, Containing 40 acres.
LOT No 2.
Beginning at a Gum in the mouth of the Pocoson Branch and numing South 3 East
54 poles to and Oak, then South 87 West to the back line, then along the back
line North 28 West to the line of Lot No 1, there with said line North 81 1/2
to the beginning, Containing 40 acres.
LOT No 3.
Beginning at an Oak, and running South 3 East 54 poles to a small Sweet Gum,
then North 88 West to the back line, then along the said line North 28 East to
the line of Lot No 2, there with said line North 87 East to the begining.
Containing 40 acres.
LOT No 4.
Beginning at a small Sweet Gum running South 3 East 80 poles to the comer Pine,
then North 75 West 79 poles to a Red Oak, then North 28 West to the line of Lot
No 3, thence run the said line South 88 East to beginning, Containing 40 acres.
Surveys divided this 31 st of Janrnuy 1810.

APPLEWHITE dec'd known by the name of Sandy Neck & bounded
as follows, Viz. Beginning at a Sweet Gum, P. BRANIL Y'S comer and running
South 17 West 60 poles to a Sassafras, then South 58 West 120 poles to a Stake,
run South 28 East 40 poles to a line of Marked trees, then with said line South
38 East, 100 poles to the main run of Spring Branch, there with said run up the
various courses thereof to a White Oak, LOWRY'S comer, thence course continued
up said unto a Gum, and from thence to the beginning. Containing 222 acres.
LOT No 1.
Beginning at a Sweet Gum and running South 17 West 60 poles to a Sassafras,
then South 56 East to the main run of Spring Branch, then up the run of said
Branch to a Gum, from thence to the beginning, Containing 55 1/2 acres.
LOT No 2.
Beginning at a Sassafras and running South 58 West 40 poles to a Stake, then
South 44 East to the main run of Spring Branch, going up said run to the line
of Lot No 1, then with said line to the beginning, Containing 55 1/2 acres.
LOT No 3.
Beginning at a Stake and running South 58 West 40 poles to a Red Oak, then
South 39 East to the main run of Spring Branch, then up said run to the line of
Lot No 2, then along said line to the beginning, Containing 55 1/2 acres.
LOT No 4. Begining at a Red Oak and
running South 58 East 40 poles to a Red Oak, Then
South 28 East 40 poles, then south 38 East 100 poles to the main run of Spring Branch, thence up the various courses of said run to the line of Lot No 3, then along said North 39 West to the beginning, Containing 55 1/2 acres.
Surveyed & divided this 31 st January 1810.

LOT No 2 To ELISHA APPLEWHITE valued at $ 277.50 pays $62.44
LOT No 3 To HENRY APPLEWHITE valued at $222.10 pays $ 6.94
LOT No 4 To ELIA GODWlN valued at $194.25 recovers $10.81
Also the Mannor Plantation divided as follows Viz.
