            Know all men by these presence that I ROBERT  JOSEY for and in consideration of One Dollar to me in hand paid and the natural love and affection I have for my son WILLIAM R. JOSEY, have bargained, sold and delivered unto the said WILLIAM R. JOSEY one Negro Girl named LEVENA, about five years old which said Negro I want to be good property, the said Negro and her increase to be WILLIAM R. JOSEY’s his lifetime and then to his children.
