Virginia Ann Saunders Salter (photo) WORTH COUNTY Virginia Ann Saunders Salter, 78, of Worth County died Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Wilson Hospice House of Albany. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at Baker Funeral Home with burial at Wrights Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Donnie Sloan will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tyler Goodwin, Jay Goodwin, Mike McLoad, Donnie Salter, Randy Jossey and Stephen Woodham. Mrs. Salter was born April 15, 1936, in Worth County, daughter of Charlie Saunders and Margie Bell Hurst Saunders. She was retired from Viking Distillery. Survivors include her husband, Horace Wilson Salter of Worth County; sons, David Saunders and wife Janice of Worth County and Don Saunders and wife Cathy of Worth County; daughters, Silvia McLoad and husband Mike of Islamorada, Fla., and Lynn Jossey and husand Randy of Albany; sister, Gloria Gunn and husband Monty of Worth County; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Saunders. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Baker Funeral Home. Arrangement have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
