Vera Jane Josey 90, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Wednesday February 10, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents; Jesse Hardy and Flossie Savage Spain, her loving husband of 44 years Paul C. Josey Sr. and a brother; Ray Hardy. Vera was a devout Christian, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children; Carol Jane Owens (Cliff), Clarence Elliott Wilson Jr. and Verna Frances Hock (Dennis); grandchildren; William "Bill" Owens (Kay), Dennis "Neal" Hock (Samantha), and Jonathan Hock (Alexa); great-grandchildren; Chiara Hock, Tripp Hock, Isabella Hock, and Jackson Gotchall; sisters; Leona Flippin and June Ann Wilson; as well as numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at 4:00 pm on Sunday February 21, 2021 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A Chapel service will immediately follow at 5:00 pm. The chapel service will be livestreamed.
