Class of 1954, Robert E Lee High School, Baytown, TX

I lost my husband, Leslie, in ’96. I was so blessed to have him 42 years. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
We had a daughter, Nancy-48, and a son, Larry-46. Blessed with 4 grandchildren and one great grandson whose name is Luke who is 3. I love each & every one of them but Luke is with me so much and is always so happy & so funny. I keep him for my oldest grand daughter who is a single mother who works & then goes to
Lee College in the evening.
When my children started Jr. High I went to work as a Loan Secretary for Baytown State Bank & then for First American Bank. I also worked for Mobay Chemical
as a Personnel Secretary.
My husband worked for a while in
Scotland, offshore in the North Sea for Occidental Oil as a Chemical  Superviser. They Sent him to Lybia & Angola. I met him in Aberdeen Scotland & we viseted several countries. We had a wonderful time and it was a grate experiance to visit but it was also nice to get back home again.
I am a member of
Northside Baptist Church & the Order of Eastern Star.
I try to walk 1 or 2 miles a day & I go to Curves to exercise. I also sub for the school district as a receptionist and nurse. I have sat in class a few times. I also attend all the home football games football games for Lee & Sterling because I work the gate to the Reserve Seat Section. I enjoy that the most.
