Lillian Joyce Hayes Josey

Funeral Service for Lillian Joyce Hayes Josey, 83, will be today September 30, 2016 at 2pm at Midway Memory Gardens Funeral Home with Rev. Don Barnett officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 til 2pm before the service. Burial will be in Midway Memory Gardens. Mrs. Josey was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She was employed by General Electric for 10 years and was a supervisor at Palm Beach for 31 years. She won many first place ribbons for smocking, sewing, quilting, and cooking. Mrs. Josey is preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma Hayes, 7 brothers, J.C. Hayes, Earnest Hayes, Roy Hayes, Will Hayes, Arthur Hayes, Crad Hayes; and son in-law Frank man. Mrs. Josey is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William E. Sonny Josey of Tall., 1 son, William Roy and wife Julia Josey of Dothan, 1 daughter Joyce Charlene Mann of Tuscaloosa, and 5 grandchildren Lauren, Sarah, John, Jessica and Justin, two sisters, Margaret Hubbard and Martha Williams both of Tall., and a host of nieces and nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be Venyard Williams, Ken Flowers, Bobby Hayes, Paul Hayes, Jim Spratlin, Jimmy Barnett, David Hayes Jeff Lackey, and Howard Josey, and the Zora Ellis Sunday School Class. Midway Memory Gardens Funeral Home will direct the service
