Jerry Kenneth Josey 23 Aug 1941 – 10 Oct 2014

Jerry Kenneth Josey, age 73, of Crestview, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2014 at his home. Jerry was a lifetime resident of Okaloosa County, a veteran of the United States Army, a member of Garden City Baptist Church. Jerry was a contractor, and built many beautiful homes on Josey Road, which is named for him. His parents, Frank and Agnes Josey; sisters, Rita Strickland and Eva Cadenhead; and son, Mike Josey, preceded him in death.Survivors are one son, Kenneth Mark Josey; sisters, Florell, Blondell and Virginia; brothers, James, Harold and Ronnie; grandchildren, Danielle, Wesley, Shawn and Dylan; and many special friends. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, from the Brackney Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Dennis Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
