Marie Jossey, age 39, of Harsens Island,
Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024 in Warren,
Michigan, with her father Melvin Jossey, partner
James Giacchina, along with close family and friends
by her side, after a battle with an aggressive cancer for over a year. Jennifer
was born on
In
December 2022, Jennifer was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer and was given a life
expectancy of only a few months. Despite this terrible news, she decided to
live her life to the fullest, traveling to
Jennifer
was known for being fun, playful, life of the party, gift giver, and her love
for sharks. She loved gardening, traveling, boating, tanning, shopping, makeup,
and getting her nails done. She was a devoted aunt, godmother, and nanny to
several families. During the summer she spent every moment she had on
Jennifer
was preceded in death by her mother, Annette Jossey (Tajak). Jennifer Marie Jossey
will be missed and cherished forever by her father Melvin Jossey,
brother James Jossey, grandmother Jennie Zimnicki, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition, she
leaves behind her partner, James Giacchina and many
other loving family and friends.
A
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 14, beginning at
