JOSEY, James Mr. James Lewis Josey age 84 of Hampton, Ga. passed away January 17, 2009. Mr. Josey was US Army veteran of World War II and a member of Moore's Temple Baptist Church. Mr. Josey was preceded in death by his wife Flossie Josey in 2006. Mr. Josey is survived by one son; James Ray Josey of Hampton, 2 daughters; JoeAnn Josey of Newnan and Marsha Bell and her husband Bobby of Jonesboro, 3 grandchildren; Kelly Johnson and her husband Darrell, Kasey Guimarin and her husband Mark, and Christopher Bell, 4 great grandchildren; Noah, James Luke and Lily Guimarin and Austin Lee Johnson, two brothers; Floyd and Lomax Josey and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Monday January 19, 2009 in the Moore's Temple Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Jerry Everett will officiate the service. Mr. Josey's family will recieve friends at the Horis A. Ward Tara Chapel on Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 5 to 8 PM. Horis A. Ward Tara Chapel in charge of arrangements.
