Earl A.
Josey, 70, of the Town of Niagara, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at his residence
following a sudden illness. Born on February
9, 1936 in Andalusia, AL he was the son of
the late Lawson and Lois (Curry) Josey. On June
9, 1956 he married the former Betty J. Robinson. She predeceased him on
November 5, 2005.
Mr. Josey
attended schools in Alabama and came to Niagara Falls in 1954. Earl served
in the United States Army from February 12, 1959 until his honorable
discharge on February 10, 1961. He worked for
National Cylinder Gas, Carborundum and most recent Tulip Corporation until his
retirement in 1998. Mr. Josey was a member of Colonial Village Presbyterian
Church. Earl enjoyed Hunting, Fishing and Football.
Mr. Josey is
survived by three sons James A. (Lori) Josey of Niagara Falls, NY, David D.
(Teresa) Josey of Niagara Falls, NY and Robert E. (Denise) Josey of Newfane, NY
and six grandchildren Ashley, Joshua, Nicholas, David, Jessica and Daniel. Earl
is also survived by one brother Foster (Joan) Josey of Connecticut and several
nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers Hubert (Diane
of Alabama) Josey and Wayne Josey.

call at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY on FRIDAY from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. Family and Friends
are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the Colonial Village Presbyterian
Church, 4813 Kline Road, Town of Niagara, NY on SATURDAY,
September 16th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Stewart
Bair officiating. Everyone please assemble at church. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, with Military
Honors.
